GORDON $3000

Breed: AQHA, Foal Date: 2015, Sex: Gelding, Color: Chestnut, Height: 15.2

Gordon is that classy, dark chestnut AQHA gelding that turns heads everywhere he goes. He has natural chrome and shines all the time. Not to mention, he is built as good as you could ask for one to be. At 15.2hh and 1315lbs he’s a great size for all riders, and at 10yrs old he’s the perfect age! Gordon is the entire package that will fit most anyone whether you’re looking for a ranch horse, rope horse, or just a good looking partner to head down the trails on! Gordon learned the meaning of hard work and how to be a dependable partner. He’s been used outside to do year round ranch work and is always up to the task at hand. He is a ton of fun in the branding pen and won’t let you down when you need one held tight to doctor in the pasture. Gordon has also been used all throughout the mountains of Colorado to do ranch work and trail ride. He is sure footed and level headed making him the ideal candidate to go blaze new trails. In the winter months, Gordon would often sit for the whole season due to the weather. Come spring he would be caught, saddled, and then used to tote around less experienced friends that would come visit the ranch to see the sights on the trails and help move the herd to grazing grounds. Out on the trail Gordon will go wherever asked on a loose rein, and absolutely loves going through water!

In the arena, he has proven to be exceptional at anything that involves a cow. He’s the go to when fresh steers come in and need to be strung because he has all the run you need to catch them straight off the trailer. Gordon is a phenomenal head horse as well but will kick his hind end over in the box and you’ll have to correct him. He leaves flat as one should and has the rate needed for slower cattle. You can take him to the 8 or 16 with no issue. Gordon has a lot of cow sense and would fit a weekend sorter looking for their next mount. He reads a cow well and with his ranching background, he’s well versed in the art that is sorting. With his athleticism and handle, there’s no doubt Gordon is the one stop shop to do it all on. He is easy to get along with whether you’re an experienced rider or just starting out as he’s one handed broke with straightforward and easy buttons. He picks up both leads easily and doesn’t get in a hurry unless asked. Both his trot and lope are comfortable to ride and easy to sit as well. Whether he’s as fresh as can be or being used daily, Gordon rides like one should. Gordon is easy to be around and stands for everything (grooming, bathing, saddling, etc.). He’ll give you his feet when you go to pick them up and stands for the farrier as well. He loads/unloads like a gentleman and is great while hauling. He gets along with everyone in the herd, is easy to catch, and has had no previous health issues. Gordon has also never offered to buck, rear, or hump up regardless of time off.

CHROME $4500

Breed: QH, Foal Date: 2017, Sex: Gelding, Color: Grey, Height: 14.2

Let me show you the coolest, fanciest little Grey gelding that we’re very proud to offer for sale! Chrome sure is quite the special little horse that I’ve really enjoyed working with for the last couple years and he’s one of the smartest horses I’ve had in my program! Chrome is an 8 yr old grade dapple grey Quarter Horse gelding that stands right at 14.2 hands and is very thick made with very good confirmation and is very correct. Chrome is very well broke to ride both English and western with countless hours of training in the arena and many miles outside on trails, fields and dirt roads and also been on busy highways and doesn’t mind traffic at all. He does very well on the trails by himself or in groups and he has been hauled some to state parks and does very well, he’ll cross creek, logs and is good with wildlife. He’s one that is fun to ride out in open country and is a very pretty mover, he will do any kind of ranch chores you would like and is very willing to do so, check fences sort cattle, work the gates you name it he’ll do it and he’s gentle enough to end the day with giving your kids or grand kids a fun ride around the place! Now let me tell you about all the training he’s had in the arena as well, Chrome is very soft and supple in all his body parts, he knows the leg cues and he’s very willing and does not make a fuss when asked, he’s very trainable and loves to please. Chrome has a one hand neck rein, he lopes pretty circles and loves to STOP! He's got a nice little sliding stop and a very cool turn around, he’ll side pass, open close gates, drag logs and good with tarps and bull whip, he’s very soft in the bridle, he will do cute little half passes with moving his hip very willingly, he’ll do the Extended trot and trotting over logs. He’ll even ride bareback and bridless. You name it… he does it all! He’s very gentle and loves attention! Chrome has also been in dressage training the last couple months and is doing outstanding in that as well as being such a pretty mover and is very good with driving in the bridle and showing off his moves and has been very easy and fun to train in dressage. Chrome is in the training level and doing well on lateral work and is ready to go to your next level! Chrome came in our barn as a five yr old and came from the breeder so I’m the second owner and owned him ever since and had all his training here at the ranch so he’s been in my program for 2 1/2 years and sure am proud where he has become! He’s been rode on and off and does very well with time off. What I really like about Chrome is he’s very versatile and keeps his training. With not mentioned yet he also has quite a bit of liberty training as well and loves it! And you can ride him western one, the next week ride him English and following week do liberty and does not get confused and keeps his training. I’ve been really mixing up his training and he keeps it very well and that’s what I really like about Chrome. Chrome has very good ground manners, he cross ties very well, he’s good with the farrier and he has very good solid black hooves and always stayed sound. He does very well in a stall or in pasture and is good with other horses and good to catch. He bathes really good and to trailer as well, Chrome is up to date on his teeth, deworming and shoeing and is ready to find his forever home!! If you think Chrome is a perfect fit for you please feel free to reach out

TWISTER $2500

Breed: QH, Foal Date: 2017, Sex: Gelding, Color: Chestnut Roan, Height: 14.3

Twister is the perfect age and size at 8 year old and 14.3 hands. He is really smooth gaited, handy broke, and simple to ride. He has a big stop on “whoa” and guides around anywhere you point him like a broke using ranch gelding. He is really easy to operate and will work for just about any level or style of rider. He travels around naturally low headed and on a relaxed rein. He loves riding out and is as comfortable alone as he is in a group. Not remotely gate, horse, or barn sour, Twister is all professional and absolutely no non-sense whatsoever. Twister has lots of outside miles, loves having a job and going somewhere. He has also been to a handful of local fun playdays and handles new places and hauling like a pro. If you’re looking for a well-bred, fancy broke gelding that is prime-age, perfect size, with some class and chrome to him – don’t skip past this one! Twister was just shod this past week and two weeks ago had his teeth done by our equine dentist, at that time his ears were preemptively treated for ticks, and his sheath was also cleaned. He was also just power pack wormed. He is good to shoe, has great large hard hooves and also goes well barefoot – if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled and trim him prior to him heading to his new home. He will arrive at his new home up-to-date and ready to go to work! We are experienced, knowledgeable sellers, and we can help with quickly arranging affordable shipping to any buyer’s location – we have experience shipping worldwide – including regularly to Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and South Africa.
